Hachiko Waits, Chapters 5-6

1: The Professer had a heart attack and died. This means Hachi will have to find a new family. I found my answer on page 41.

2: I think she is caring because she is willing to take in a dog she doesnt really know because its owner died.

3: They had to half-pull half-drag Hachi all the way home. I found my answer on page 44.

4: Yasuo will have to feed him, walk him, and probably have to play with him just like any other dog.

5: Hachi started running really fast and Yasuo and his dad couldn't keep up. I found my answer on page 50.

1. The professor died at work, but Hahci still has hope that he will come back.
2. Mrs. Takahashi says that she is taking care of Hachi for the proffesser. "He was a good man" She says.
3. Yasuo and his mom had to tie him to a rope and drag him home.
4. Yasuo has to feed him fresh food and water every day at the train station.
5. When Mr. Takahashi opened the door so Hachi could go for a walk, Hachi escaped back to the train station.

1. The proffessor died. That means someone else will have to care for Hachi or he will starve!
2. When Mrs. Takahashi takes care of Hachi, she is showing respect to Proffessor Ueno because she is taking care of HIS dog. "I doing it for the proffessor" she says.
3. Hachi was very stubborn. Yasuo and his mom had to tie him to a rope and drag him back to the house.
4. Yasuo has to give Hachi fresh food and water every day at the train station.
5. When Yasuo's dad opened the door to take Hachi for a walk, Hachi escaped back to the train station.

Obi means decorative sash

Furoshiki means cloth bundle

Arigato mean thank you

1.The proff died and that leaves Hachi waiting without knowing that his master has died

2.She treats him like family feeding him and leting him do what he wants to do.

3.They tied a rope around his neck and pulled/dragged him all the way home.

4.He will have to walk him, pick up his business, and feed him.

5.Hachi just started running for his life bursting from the rope tied to him.

The professsor died so Hachi has to life with Yasou.

She said " I will do it for the prof. he was a good man." and let him keep the dog.
3. How did Yasuo and his mom get Hachi to go home with them?
Yasou and his mother got him home by dragging him.
4. What will Yasuo's responsibilities be if he is going to be Hachi's owner?
His responsibilities would be teaching him tricks and not to run away.

Hachi outside for a walk?
When they took Hachi on a walk he ran away.
