Author Signing at Blue Willow Bookshop

Imaginary Islands
We have spent 3 weeks working on our map skills. Our culminating project was to create an imaginary island. Each island had to have a theme and all land forms, bodies of water, and cities had to fit your theme. The maps students created were wonderful!!

Students should be reading at least 20 minutes a night for homework. They are always welcome to read more! When kids see their parents reading at home they will see the value of reading. While you read the newspaper, magazine, or book, have your child sit next to you reading a book or magazine.
